How do I turn on and off Mercari notifications?
To choose how and when you receive notifications, click here to access your notifications or go to your Notifications settings in your profile page. Profile > Settings > Notifications.
From this page, you can easily toggle which notifications you want to receive.
How do I turn on SMS notifications?
Opting in to SMS notifications from Mercari allows you to receive important updates directly to your phone. You’ll only receive an SMS notification when your item sells or your purchase is delivered.
To opt in, go to your Notifications settings in your profile page. Profile > Settings > Notifications.
To receive SMS notifications from us, you must first verify your phone number. You may have already done this when you signed up. If you haven’t, you’ll see a prompt under the SMS section to verify your number. Tap it and follow the steps.
Once your number is verified, you’ll be able to turn SMS notifications on or off at any time. If the switch is swiped right and purple, it’s on. If the switch is swiped left and colorless, it’s off.
Turning on Do Not Disturb
You can choose to silence notifications using your device’s Do Not Disturb function located in your device’s Settings menu. Do Not Disturb settings and options will differ depending on your device.
- For iOS devices To access your Do Not Disturb options, go to your device’s Settings > Do Not Disturb. You can manually turn Do Not Disturb on or off, or you can schedule times when you would like your Do Not Disturb function to be active.
- For Android devices Do Not Disturb settings and options will differ depending on your device. Some devices do not offer a Do Not Disturb function.
