For orders using a Mercari prepaid label, the cost of return shipping is covered. When the return is approved, Mercari will send you, the buyer, a label to return the item to the seller. If the item is greater than 50 pounds (actual or dimensional weight), the return label is paid for by the seller and provided to you. In that case, the seller has 3 days to provide the return label; otherwise, the order will be canceled and you will be refunded.

Please note, the seller is responsible to provide a valid address to return the item and is responsible for any additional cost if it is undeliverable. Mercari will not issue a second return label. You should not refuse delivery of the package shipped by the seller and instead should work through the return process. If the package is refused delivery and is not able to be delivered back to the Seller, then the order may be rated and the Seller is paid. In that case, you will not be refunded because the item was not returned to the seller through the return process.
