Board Games

A mature twist to Candyland, players are gingerbread people who’ve just realized the King intends to sell them to be eaten by the children of the world, & set their eyes on escaping Candyland. As one player passes another, the active player inflicts 1 wound on one of the other’s 6 possible body parts.  Receiving 6 wounds on any one part destroys it!  Tear that body part from your wound tracker and give it to the player delivering the last wound. Many a game has been won by a disembodied hopping gingerbread leg.  

Feeling mean?  You can move forward or back, so feel free to hit opponents twice if the cards allow! Plus, certain cards allow you to equip weapons doing extra damage or giving you ranged attacks! 

At Thanksgiving/Christmas, exchange your paper gingerbread man wound tracker for oversized gingerbread cookies, using dots of colored icing to track wounds!

My kids love the game and used colored markers (without my knowledge) on the bottom of the board to show their approval!
