It’s ridiculously easy to buy stuff. Whether you’re shopping in-store or online, buying has become like breathing.
Shopping has become such a big part of our lives, there are even holidays dedicated to getting us to shop more.
Black Friday. Made up.
Small Business Saturday. Made up.
Cyber Monday. Made up.
So we made up a holiday, too.
Except this one’s different.
It’s called Sell Your $#%! Sunday.
And it is what it sounds like. A day for you to sell your stuff.
The holiday may be made up, but the money is real.
Why now?
Let’s be clear. There’s nothing wrong with buying new stuff.
In fact, days like Black Friday and Cyber Monday are great opportunities to buy the things you want or need. That smartwatch. That comfy new sweater. Cool toys for the kids.
But what about the stuff you no longer use? The things your kids outgrew? Or the hobby that just didn’t stick?
If you’re no longer using it, it’s time to sell it.
