Orvis Fly Rod

This vintage rod was purchased in the late 60’s or early 70’s—not quite sure when.  There are three tips and as indicated in the photos, one of the tip-tops is broken.  Should be an easy fix.  Line seems best paired with #6 or #7:weight double taper line.  Original bag and and tube included.

I bought this rod for a friend that was going on a fly fishing trip with me and they have decided that fly fishing is not for them. The rod has been lightly used, only about 5 or 6 times, and is in great condition. It is a great option for someone looking to get into fly fishing, or as a backup rod.

There is no damage to the rod or reel and the line show little to no wear due to the limited use.

Used on the water 3 times. Great rod, but I’m looking for something different. Comes with an Orvis protection tube - The dealer gave me the wrong tube (It says 8 weight instead of 7 weight). Not a huge deal, but just want to be transparent.
