How to request Instant Pay

Ready to cash-out with Instant Pay?

Tap Settings > Balance > “Transfer” > Instant Pay

If you haven’t done so already, you’ll need to set-up Instant Pay by following these steps:

  1. Verify your government ID:
  2. Tap to upload your ID along with a photo of yourself. Your ID will be checked against the photo you uploaded. On average, this process will be completed in minutes, but it can take up to 48 hours. If you have already verified your government ID, you can go straight to step 2.

  3. Add a debit card:
  4. Once you’ve verified your government ID, you will need to enter your debit card information in My Balance. Currently, only Visa and Mastercard debit cards are eligible for Instant Pay. If your card isn’t eligible or your bank doesn’t approve your request to set-up Instant Pay, you can try another verified card or direct deposit.

  5. Get paid in minutes:
  6. Once you’ve successfully submitted your request for Instant Pay, you’re all done! Your funds will be available to you in minutes.

You can use Instant Pay for up to $500 per month, once per day. All that’s required is a $2 fee. It can take up to 30 minutes to see the balance in your bank account depending on your bank’s processing time.

Note: Instant Pay is only available in the latest version of the Mercari app.
