The package was ripped and torn, the bag was exposed and scratched, it looke as though it had been stepped one a few times... frankly , I surprised that this, lovely bag survived the trip. The scratches I think will smoth out with a light sanding and polish. The bag its self is very nice and although it was beat up pretty badly, it survived and arrived at its new home! I it the holidays so I'll make due. (I would recomend a thicker padding in packaging however,). Thank you so much for the great price on the item (if the fact is that, merci is. Responsible for the mailing rates? They should be ashamed to charge so much and so inconsistently!) If not, then we all need be honest in our dealings. Everyone understands wanting to get back as much as we can on an item, just as the buyer want a great deal. But the shipping costs are not realistic. DOES Macari charge the seller a rate?). USPS has set rates anyone can see and most know. Have a Joyful Holiday Season and a blessed New Year.
