Description

This book, written by country legend Loretta Lynn (with George Vecsey) was published in paperback in 1976 by Warner Books. It is the story of her life in Butcher Holler, meeting husband Doolittle Lynn, her career in country music and her many friends such as Patsy Cline and Conway Twitty. It was made into a film in 1980. The book shows its age but is in good reading condition. The cover has wear with spotting and corner wear. A previous owner's name is neatly written inside the front cover. There is spotting inside the front and back covers. There is a crayon mark and spotting on the front flyleaf. There is also a crayon mark on the upper corner of the title page. None of these flaws impact the readability of the book. The rest of the pages are clean, without writing, tears or folds. There is a 16-page section of black and white photos mid-book. The pages are tanning a bit with age. The pages are secure in the binding.
