Mini tea sets were a rage at the turn of the 19th century, and through the war, miniatures allowed the women who were left behind that couldn’t afford fine china to dream, while buying a little piece of luxury. Placed strategically on a shelf or in a china cabinet, it created the impression that more riches lay within. Living two years in England as a result of one of our military tours, I had ample time for Treasure Hunting. This duo of PMI Porzellan is marked on bottom as shown, a vintage miniature with hand painted florals and real gold hand brushed details. One has been repaired nearly imperceptibly as the handle was broken in our move back. 3 1/2” high covered, 4” wide handle to spout, 2” diameter Search Pandorasgarage for unique its from interesting places!
