Great addition to any gallery wall
19th century gold tone folding glasses, also known as lorgnette. They are still in working order. They fully latch and release when pulled on the hidden lever. The buttons and the tintype are from the early to mid 1800s. The woman’s dress is a great example of Civil War era clothing for the time. The scent bottle is one of the smallest I have found. It is glass with a metal gold tone cage like design. The back of the top has a hook, so whoever owned it could hang it from a chatelaine or necklace.
UV protective acrylic and acid-free paper is used to keep everything beautiful for years to come. Everything is completely removable if you choose to do so. All of my displays come with a small write-up of what is inside, more than is given here.

Hand painted brush gold frame complement this amazing black and gold museum display. These are gold fill Victorian nose pinch glasses with amber color frame. The nose pinch mechanism still works. A chain attached to the glasses with a gold fill hair pin. 
  The tintype still has its original paper frame. These 3 fashionable women are wearing Victoria clothing.
  Jet black glass beads and gold metal beads were woven to make the watch fob. This has seen better days. Some of the strands of thread have come unraveled but only by a little. It has been restored in a way where, if not used, it should not unravel any further.

Uv acrylic and acid free paper are used to keep the antique in great condition for years to come. Everything is removable if you choose. I have detailed knowledge of all of the contents in all of my displays feel free to ask me anything.
