Jeannette Glass Neoclassic Smoke Jar – Circa 1950

Neoclassic smoke set cigarette holder, Jeannette Glass. Designed to compliment Wedgwood Blue Jasperware (porcelain) dinnerware. 
Jeannette was an American company and Wedgwood is in England.
The color was called Corinthian blue by Jeannette. Neoclassic decor, a revival of ancient Greek and Roman styles, was popular in the 1950's.
In near-new condition. Real gold rim trims are 98% present. Rare to find with such little wear on the gold. The pattern is as bright as the day they were made.
I sadly do not have the matching two ashtrays only the covered jar. The jar was designed to hold cigarettes, but is great for anything you'd like store.
Made of thick, quality glass. Covered jar measures 6.5″ tall.
Great addition to any collection!

Jeannette Glass Neoclassic Smoke Jar – Circa 1950

These are increasingly hard to find,  early 1900’s very Large Bread/Cake/Baked Goods Tin Box.  Primitive, Rustic & Authentic!  As you see there is a large degree of Chippiness, dents & rust.  The stencil Deco Border is there but faded.  The hinges have long since been broken and there is a front closure that is just there but non functional.  The lid is misshapen and  goes on after fiddling with to get it lined up.
There are handles on each side which Do Work!!  It definitely can be cleaned up and painted if you wanted to do away with the shabby primitive look.  On the other hand there is an amazing amount of charm and character in this big old box! 12.5x 17.5x11.5”
