Vintage basket set. 3 stackable nesting baskets. These were popular in the 1950s, 1960s. and 1970s so would be from one of those decades. Made from raffia and seagrass. Made in Philippines Filipino. Vegetable veggie design. Round shape with two handles on each side. Tan beige multi colored. They do have some staining and wear as shown.

Vintage authentic African basket set. . My grandparents were government military employees and lived all over the world. They recently passed and these baskets were found. They are very old but excellent condition. I believe they may be seagrass but I’m not sure, they are flexible. Sold as a set.

This item is in pretty great condition. The last picture shows its only flaw. It's just a tiny little spot on the wood. It can be easily covered or fixed or left exactly. As it is, that's up to the buyer anyways. It measures 9 inches in diameter, about 5 inches tall at its handles. The handles measure about 6 inches long to give you an idea of the entire thing. It stands about 3 and 3/4 inches tall without handles the center is a thicker wicker. Weave in a circular pattern of course, overall, this is in great condition.

Handwoven from wood splints, this vintage basket has all the charming details.  Constructed with a unique, v-shaped opening, stripes of muted red, green, and a chalkboard-black piece with painted school motifs punctuate the warm, organic color of the weave.  The single handle and rectangular shape, with flat sides and bottom allow the basket to hang on the wall.  While this basket could be used to contain and organize supplies, filled with small, thoughtful gifts, it would also be a lovely way to show appreciation for a special teacher.  This piece is in good vintage condition, with a clean and sturdy weave, but has a cracked splint on the back that can be easily repaired or concealed.  Measures approximately 8" tall (not including handle), 7" from side to side, 7.5" across the mouth.

A beautiful, vintage, woven basket is a charming way to display your late-summer blooms while adding textured, natural elements to your decor.  This handmade basket is woven in a red-brown rattan and a flat side and bottom ring, allowing it to be displayed on a wall or against any level surface.  The basket's mouth measures 10" by 7" with a depth of 8"--ample space for holding your treasures.  The total length from handle to bottom is 14".  This little piece of French vintage is flawless and well-made; the weave is secure, the bottom is sturdy, and there are no shifting components .

This lovely basket is in the "Iris" pattern by Hull Pottery. It has a matte finish, and the colors blend from blue on the base to cream to pink at the rim and handle. Pretty pink and yellow irises with green leaves decorate the front and back of the basket. Marked, "HULL / USA/ 408-7"/ 22 (decorator's mark)". Size: 7 in. high x 7½ in. long x 4 7/8 in. wide. In very good condition: there are three tiny glaze pops on the handle 1 mm or less (see close-up photo) and one on the inside bottom of the bowl - all done at the time of manufacture. The basket also has a few tiny marks on one side, probably from storage (I wouldn't even call them scratches). Circa 1940's; guaranteed to be authentic Hull.
