Stunning FANTASY BIRDS BY GIBSONS STAFFORDSHIRE TEAPOT WITH BUILT IN STRAINER & LID SUGAR WITH LID & CREAMER
Teapot with lid measures...5" tall x 9" wide
creamer measures...2 3/4" tall x 4" wide
Sugar with lid measures...3" tall x 4 3/4" wide
Bottom reads: Gibsons Staffordshire England, there are handwritten markings and numbers 5415 
This is a beautiful Gibsons England Art Deco 3 Piece Pottery Tea set made in the 1920's-1930's. 
 The pieces are made of red clay pottery and has blue bands and cream bands overlaid with a black transferware print that was then hand painted. 
 The transfer is a brightly painted landscape with fantasy birds. 
 There is gold trim and also a gold spout, handle and lid. 
Great vintage condition, the teapot has an ever so tiny chip on the spout that you really can't even see.
 The sugar bowl has a little crazing but that is expected and normal for this age and glaze used.

Darling Cottage Tea pot with matching Cream and Sugar containers. 

This charming tea set “Claire’s Nantucket Cottage” was created by artist Claire Murray for Gibson Elite. It is in good pre-loved condition. Has lots of fun details like cute cottage windows with shutters, cascading flowers under windows and on the roof shingles. Pink doors with white trim and green grass all around the cottage. Even detailed chimneys. 

Makes anyone think about beautiful Spring Days!! 

Measures approx: 7” high on tea pot and 4.5” high on creamer. Tea pot holds approx. 16oz and the creamer holds approx 5oz. 

Sugar container has a small spoon slot (I don’t have spoon for it). Any small sugar spoon would work. 

 No chips or cracks. Glaze has a few small crazing lines (see pictures). Each piece is signed by the artist CM (see pic)

Great decorating piece for Spring/Easter time. A charming piece for any tea collector!
