This vintage metal tray has a vibrant red background with a gorgeous spray of yellow roses.  It is definitely eye-catching and fully functional with a retro 1950s/60s vibe.  

Measures 17.5" by 12.75".   While exact age and origin are unknown, it most likely is from the 1950s or 1960s when these trays were extremely popular.  The overall condition is good but there are few small nicks and scrapes on the front from use.  On the back, there is a small area of rust/discoloration that may be able to be addressed.  I did not want to take any chances and merely cleaned it.  Tried to capture as many imperfections as possible in the close-up photos so please check all the photos carefully for best description of condition.

This vintage serving tray is a groovy addition to any kitchen or home decor. The tray features a beautiful pattern of red and yellow roses on a rectangular medium-sized metal surface with a glossy finish. A gorgeous pair of vintage trays painted with enamel. One has a viking styled ship sailing the open sea with two fish in the ocean; the other has two pretty swans wading in a lake overlooking the sun set behind the mountain tops. Both are super vibrant and pretty. Lots of blues, reds, greens, and yellows create these colorful beauties.

Could be used as serving trays or jewelry/trinket dishes; or even displayed on a buffet or mounted to the wall. Their colorfulness will fit into a wide range of different decor styles.

Both are in great condition!
The tray with the ship is missing a couple spots of enamel, as I circled in one of the photos.
Large ship tray has a 9" diameter.
Small swan tray has a 6" diameter.

What a unique piece - reminds me of a peacock design.  Red clay, brown drip and gold art, painted decor piece and/or tray.  Small silver sticker on back - JAPAN readable.  This piece measures approximately 6" high x 10 1/2" long x 1" deep.  I believe this is meant to stand since the unglazed  red clay is on the wider bottom part, but could easily be a serving tray, candy dish, ash tray, etc.  Has ridges in the stem that curve up into a ball and fluted edges around top.  Mold #3058 on back.  No damage.   Selling as is.  Use pictures as part of description.

Vintage Tin Tole Tray Toleware Black Red Flower Roses

Vintage Marcelline Tray 1950's RARE

Fire engine red!  This vintage tray is kidney shaped with a small nesting tray that sits in the center.  This piece is unsigned so I was unable to verify the maker.  However, the speckled mid-century design resembles Bauer Pottery in my opinion.  Did I mention it’s red?  What a stunning piece this would be placed on a coffee table!  It can certainly be used for serving an appetizer or snacks as well.  

PLEASE NOTE:  There are two issues.  The first is a tiny chip that a previous owner touched up with paint.  They did an excellent job because I didn’t notice it until I gave the tray a closer inspection.  The second flaw is on the underside of the smaller tray.  There’s a tiny raw spot that missed being glazed in the manufacturing process.  PLEASE SEE MY PICTURES FOR DETAILS.

With those two exceptions, no chips or cracks in this vintage piece.
Approx 12” in length and approx 6.25” at widest point.  The small nesting tray is approx 5” in length and approx 2.75” at widest point.
