Shakespeare Ultimate Spider-Man Kid's Fishing Casting Kit Rod Pole 2' 6" Marvel

Just finished reconditioning this 1940s Shakespeare split bamboo fly rod. It's 8'6" in length and consists of 3 sections. I suggest fishing it as a 5/6 wt. 
While reconstructing this rod, original thread color and signature wraps were adhered to. A new reel seat was fitted because, unfortunately, the original seat was damaged beyond repair. The 4 original line guides were replaced with 10 snake line guides and 1 strip guide for a better fishing action.
As a maker and builder of bamboo fly rods we do our best to make the same size rods equal to each other but, due to the natural material they are constructed from, all bamboo fly rods fish differently. That makes fishing bamboo fly rods more exciting and challenging. This rod is made of Tonkin bamboo which is considered to be the best bamboo to use for fly rod making and building.
So if you're thinking about getting into split bamboo rod fly fishing, you can't go wrong starting with this one.
