Sometimes Mercari will offer users coupons and other promotions.

Coupons vary in value and can be used for savings on future purchases. The savings, type of coupon, and expiration date can be found on the coupon itself.

You can easily check to see if you have any coupons and when they expire by going to your profile > Settings > Coupons.

If you have an eligible coupon, it will automatically be applied at checkout. Tap the coupon on the checkout screen to remove it.

If you have more than one available coupon, just tap Coupons on the checkout screen and select the coupon you want to use.

Please note:

• The discounts are rounded down to the nearest dollar.
• Only one coupon can be applied per transaction.
• You can only use a coupon on an offer in the app.
• Coupons work with both the offer and the counter offer.
• Coupons don’t work if the offer is accepted after expiration date.
• We are unable to transfer coupons between accounts.

What happens if an order I used a coupon on is cancelled?

When a coupon is applied to a transaction and that transaction is cancelled, your coupon is issued back to your account immediately. Please feel free to use the coupon toward your next purchase.

Your coupon will have a new expiration date when it is reissued. You can check the expiration date for your coupon under your Settings.

Please keep in mind that if an offer is tied to the item, the discount coupon isn't returned to you if the transaction is cancelled.

Can I use a coupon when I make an offer?

Yes! You can make an offer and use a coupon at the same time. Please make sure that you make your offer as soon as possible. Your coupon won’t work if the offer is accepted after its expiration date.

How do I know if a coupon was used on my purchase?

You can check if your coupon was used by going to the purchase confirmation email we sent you. This shows the original listing price, any discounts from coupons, credits, or balance, and the total amount you paid.

How do I use a Mercari Local Coupon?

Mercari Local coupons are automatically applied at checkout upon selecting Mercari Local delivery method. Discounts will not be applied if item is purchased through Mercari Shipping option.
