The eBay import tool is a way to list items from your eBay account on Mercari. It is currently only available for users apart of the Pro Seller BETA program. For more information on the Pro Seller program please click here.

Where can I find this tool?
You can find the link to the tool by clicking on your display picture at the top right of the screen when you are on Mercari.com using your desktop computer.
The tool is in the BETA stage of development, and so there are access limitations at the moment.
- The tool is currently only accessible to Pro Sellers. We will open to the public at a later stage.
- The tool is only available in the desktop website version
- The tool is not available in the Mercari iOS app
- The tool is not available in the Mercari Android app
- The tool is not available in the mobile website version
What type of listings can/cannot be imported?
In the BETA version, the tool will only support importing items that match the criteria below. We are working hard to support more types of items in the very near future.
- Items from eBay.com (US) only
- Items that have been listed within the last 120 days
- Items with a price between $5 - $2,000 (including shipping fee)
- Items with a price currency in USD
- No auction items
- Items that do not only contain stock photos
- It is against Mercari Terms and Policies to use stock photos in the listing. Please see our prohibited conduct for more information
- Only items with "flat" shipping fee can be imported
- Items that don’t have a shipping method supported in Mercari. E.g. A very large size item that requires freight shipping
- Items that violate any of Mercari Terms and Policies. E.g. Adult items
What information will be imported?
The following information will be copied over from your listings on eBay
- Item name
- In the BETA version, the tool will truncate the item title to 40 characters
- Item images
- Only the first 12 images will be imported
- Item description
- In the BETA version, the tool will truncate the description to 1,000 characters
- In the BETA version, the tool will not support HTML tags and will remove any that are found
- Item price
- The price imported will be the final price which will include the item price and shipping fee
- Category
- Brand
- Zipcode
- Item condition
What information will not be imported?
All of the other information which is not specified in the above question such as
- Item metadata
- Item delivery information
- In the BETA version, all of the items imported will be set as "Ship on your own" by default in Mercari
- Item inventory
- Return policies
- Listing policies
- Quantity limit per buyer
- Sales Tax
How will I know when the import is finished?
When the import is finished, you will receive a notification email sent to the email registered in your Mercari account.
