Mercari Pro Sellers are individuals and some small businesses who have a proven track record of great inventory and positive reviews from other buyers.
Mercari has individually screened each Pro Seller in the onboarding process, and approved them for this program based on their past performance and verified information.
Mercari Pro Sellers must meet certain requirements to qualify for our Pro Seller program.
How can I find items from Mercari Pro Sellers?
On a seller’s profile, you can view their badges to see if they have the Pro Seller badge. Right now, we don’t have a filter for Pro Seller items to maintain fairness in the marketplace.
Why do certain Pro Seller items not have the Mercari Authenticate diamond badge?
Certain Pro Seller items are exempted from the Mercari Authenticate program due to the operational complexity associated with authenticating the large number of items that they bring to Mercari. Pro Sellers have a positive track record in selling luxury goods and many provide their own authenticity guarantee. We encourage buyers to chat with the Pro Sellers and ask questions before making any purchases. We continuously monitor the performance of the Pro Sellers and take strict actions, including taking away their Pro Seller privileges, if they are found to be dealing with counterfeit items or other prohibited conduct.
