1980's Cocktail Dress in size xxs/xs. Dress is strapless with a fitted bodice with boning in the bust. Sexy sheath style fit. Gold lame criss-cross detail at the waist. Dress is fully lined in matching black acetate. Fabric is an acetate velvet in black. In near mint vintage condition with no flaws to note.

Size: Labeled a 6; Would best fit a modern xxs/xs. FOR REFERENCE: I am 5'3" and usually wear a size 2/4 (but wider through the rib cage) and this was just a touch too small to zip up. But it should fit most 2's! Size is just an estimate ~ Check measurements for your best fit!

I believe that the outer layer may have shrunk a little bit and the silk slip is showing as a bit longer than the overlay (see photos)
I actually think it looks ok, it looks like the hem is meant to be layered but I did want to disclose.  It could also be hemmed to be even at the hem.  It would make the dress a bit shorter.
Other than that, no holes or rips, beading in perfect condition

STYLE: 100% silk strapless dress w/ruched bodice. Drop waist style. Boned bodice. Ivory/cream & black polka dots. Ruffled/tiered skirt.
Invisible zipper in back, the inside back bodice has metal hook/eye closure.
SIZE: women’s size 6, please note this item measures approx 14.5” across from pit to pit; 13” across the waist; 17.75” across the hips, where the black skirt starts. 
COLOR: Cream/ivory and black. 
CONDITION: In overall good gently used condition. There is what appears to be a run in the fabric diagonally on the torso that gets lost amongst all the gathers, so it’s hard to notice unless you’re looking for it. See closeup. A couple of very small hard to find discolorations, which also get lost amongst the gathers/ruffles, see closeup pics circled in red.
