This is for a tlc Pleasant Company Samantha doll. She has pleasant company deeply on the back of her neck. She also has an artist mark behind her ear. Her eyes open and close evenly. Her strings are good. She is tagged Pleasant Company on the side of her body. Her limbs need to be adjusted. She can stand but needs to be adjusted. She has a mark on her side and a mark on the front (see pictures for best description.) Her hair length may be cut. (I took a picture in a ponytail and out so you can see the length. She comes wearing a cute flannel nightgown. Great for a starter doll.

Early Pleasant Company TLC Samantha Doll with Artist Mark ~

Say hello to Raggedy Ann! She was a previous 2016 Ashlynn doll from American Girl's Wellie Wishers collection. She is a "modernized" version of the Raggedy Ann doll. Having a more "sculpted" body shape makes her look more realistic like a grade-school child, and less floppy and ordinary. I painted under her lower eyelids to give her the "doll-eyes", as they call it in cosmetics. I gave her the traditional red triangle nose, sweetheart lips, and smile lines up to her cheeks. I used paint and artist's choice calligraphy pens. She has a traditional wig of red yarn hair. The wig is not glued on. She wears the Raggedy Ann style outfit, with modern fabric design patterns and colors to better stand out in today's society.  She's wearing striped tights, hot-pink felt boots, white bloomers with tiny chic flowers printed all over, a navy-blue cotton dress with little white polka dots, and a pink & white gingham apron. I made the whole attire by myself using a sewing machine.

Original Pleasant Company edition Samantha Parkington American Girl doll in fantastic condition. Very clean and box kept for many years. Comes with original outfit, along with several others, her dog Coconut, and the original box which shows some wear from her cross country moves. Not sure if I can part with her, but if the right home presents itself, I may be able to. The back of her neck is stamped with the PC logo and the artists signature.  Eyes function perfectly, no markings on body, limbs, or face. This doll has been very well loved for over 22 years! Smoke free home.
