This is a very nice antique red flash glass toothpick holder with the name Esther on it. It is a souvenir from Old Orchard Beach in Maine from 1904. Very good shape.

Beautiful Moreau-esque bronze sculpture crafted by famous French artist Suzanne Bizard. This sculpture is a bronze nude featuring a Neoclassical girl wielding two woven wicker baskets in her hands. Finished in a soft brown patina and fitted to a gorgeous green marble base. This piece is in fantastic condition, with sleek and un-dulled or muddied patina on the bronze work, and vibrant greens, whites, and blacks present in the marble base. 

This sculpture is solid and heavy, with the bronze casting and solid marble base weighing in at nearly 8 lbs. 

Suzanne Bizard was a notable French sculptor who was born in 1873. She is a life member of the Society of French Artists, where she exhibited until 1936. She received an honorable mention in 1900, where her plaster statue "Vers l’idéal" (Towards the ideal) ( N o 1846) was bought by the state. She also exhibited at the Salon of French Artists (Académie des Beaux-Arts) "Honor and Money" in 1903, and two portraits in 1904 and 1905.
