Fabulously unique diminutive size oval serving platter by Japanese porcelain producer Kutani. This Mid-Century Modern piece has silver hand painted accents. A bamboo stalk and leaves in hand painted silver adorns the surface of this piece along with a fine silver verve. This piece is the perfect example of restrained elegance in a simplistic form. Bamboo symbolizes luck and is a symbol of perseverance. Given as a gift, it symbolizes the wish for a strong life filled with prosperity.

This vintage piece is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. There are some utensil marks. however, this is a striking piece - regardless of these signs of loving use.  Note: This piece has stood the test of time and is not dishwasher friendly. Hand washing with a gentle detergent and drying with a soft towel is recommended to ensure the hand painted accents retain their beauty for years to come.

Vintage White Melmac Platter

This listing is for a gorgeous serving platter from the line of tableware designed by Eva Zeisel for the Hallcraft China Company. This pattern named “Fantasy”. Love the simple elegance of this mid century form as well as the delicacy of the China paint atomic motif.

The plate measures 15" x 10". The plate is in good, but not pristine or excellent condition. There are some surface scratches from use and a bit of wear on the China paint decoration.

Vintage platter by Eva Zeisel, Fantasy

This listing is for an collection of five beautiful vintage serving plates. All plates have a lovely oval shape and are quite substantial in their thickness and heft. 

The largest plate is 17 x 11 ¼ x 2”, by Shenango. Structurally it is in good condition, w. minimal signs of surface wear.
2nd plate is by Edward Clarke, Tunstall, Stone China, 15 x 10 ½ x 1 3/4”. No structural issues, but there is more surface wear and several grayed spots.
3rd plate is by Apilco (France), 13 ¾ x 9 ½ x 1 ¾”. It is in good cond. with some flea bites on the middle foot and discoloration on the bottom.
4th plate is 11 7/8 x 8 1/8 x 1 1/4”, by Caribe (Puerto Rico, USA). Structurally this plate is sound, it shows just minor surface wear.
The smallest plate is 10 ½ x 7 ¼ x 1”, by Wood & Sons in England, Albert Pick & Co, Chicago & San Francisco. This plate is in good condition.
Please note that together these plates are very heavy and shipping is factored in the overall price. Will be double-boxed.

This has been in storage and is in excellent condition.

Large Unusual Rectangular Ironstone Platter. Interesting pattern. Nice standing on plate easel as a background for seasonal decor.  In vintage aged condition  yet still usable.  As shown two large chips under edge of one side, not evident in a front on display as in easel, plate stand, plate rack or shelf groove.

Royal China Blue Heaven Platter

This listing is for a lovely semi-porcelain serving platter by S.F.&J.. Manufactured in England, this piece has an elegant, but not too fussy aesthetic. Love the swooping lines of the outer edge of the piece as well as the detailed, but understated floral transfer. This piece would be great for both utilitarian and decorative purposes.

The platter measures approximately 16 1/8 x 11 3/4 x 1 1/2". It is in good condition for its age, but not pristine. There are no major structural issues to mention, but plenty of surface wear (especially in the middle), some slight discoloration and a couple of tiny flea bites on the edge. Personally, I love these time created imperfections. :-)
