Vintage Mattel Barbie Doll 1992 Trolls Mix And Match Hair NRFB

This is a vintage 1981 Sunsational Malibu Barbie and Ken Doll set made by Mattel. The set includes two dolls, Barbie and Ken, both with blonde hair. This original set is part of the Sun & Beach Barbie product line, and is in new condition and still in the original packaging. Ken has molded hair, while Barbie has synthetic. Both dolls have blue eyes and come with mirrored sunglasses and beach towels. The boxes show only very slight wear but have lost the adhesive at the top. However, the dolls and accessories are intact and secured in original packaging. I've taped each closed to protect the contents (see images). The dolls are licensed original reproductions and are being sold as a set, ready for play or display. Who can separate these two?

This doll is beautiful!Her head is from a Vintage Star Trek - 30th Anniversary, Barbie&Ken , Barbie doll+her body is a Barbie body articulated in the 5 basic points,elbows+knees.Skin tone is a close match/the head+body have similar undertones so she still looks great.She has beautiful,blonde hair which has been cleaned,boil washed+styled in a ponytail+cute bangs too.Her face screening is beautiful w/ a hand painted look to it that you just don’t get with modern Barbies!She has big blue eyes+a classic red lip.She’s a beautiful doll+would be a wonderful addition to any collection.

She is in decent condition, though her left eye paint is halfway to the closed state all the time. 
Her lipstick is off a little bit as well.
She is clean, her nightgown is still fuzzy and soft. Her hair is clean and shiny.

This Midge is a bit rare, it is unfortunate that her long red hair has been cut! I still think she is beautiful especially with her lavender-blue eyes, shimmery gold to pink eyeshadow, dark brown brows & deep red closed lips. Love the makeup!
She has no jewelry. Other then lack of jewelry and the hair being cut I see no other flaws. She would be fun to make a OOAK  doll out of.
