Melocactus azureus is a species of cactus endemic to Brazil, where it is known only from Bahia. It is a stunning globose species with a frosty blue coloration and 9-10 ribs lined with spines. It is a member of the "Turk's Cap" genus, and will grow a cephalium atop its stem. The cephalium produces vibrant, carmine to fuschia tubular flowers that contrast well with the blue of the stem. It can reach about 7.0" tall and 5.5" wide

Using regular potting soil might not be the best choice for a Browningia Hertlingiana because it tends to retain too much moisture, increasing the risk of root rot. Opt for a well-draining soil mix specifically formulated for cacti and succulents. These mixes typically contain sand, perlite, or gravel, allowing excess water to drain quickly, mimicking the cactus's natural habitat.

Blue to silver colors on the body of this cactus. Body is has little bumps on it, no large spikes. Produces numerous offsets. Grows over 12”, produces a white flower. Offset brown, and does look like a pine cone. Really a cute cactus. Two new offsets on this cactus. Very well established Pine Cone cactus.

Plant in a fast draining cacti soil. Be sure to use a pot that has drainage holes. Do not allow to stand in water.

Columnar shaped cactus, as cactus matures turns a blue shade. Short, but sharp spikes with a wool like hairs. Produces a blueish white flower. If planted outdoors in ground can reach a height of 30 feet. Average growth for this cactus is 1 1/2 feet a year. Can be grown indoors but will need between 4-6 hours of sunlight. Hardy up to 30 degrees. 4” cactus

Pilosocereus Azureus Cactus

Mammillaria compressa is a clump-forming cactus with cylindrical to club-shaped stems with spines that vary in length and arise from conical tubercles. It readily offsets, forming a large clump in time. The stems are gray-green to blue-green, often with tufts of white hair and bristles in the axils. They can grow up to 10 inches (25 cm) long and 4 inches (10 cm) in diameter

The flowers are bright purple-pink, up to 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) in diameter, and appear in spring, forming attractive rings around each stem. Fruits are red, club-shaped, and contain brown seeds.
This succulent is shipped ‘bare roots’ and wrapped in protective tissue paper.
-‘Bare roots’ simply means there is none or very little soil on the roots of the succulent. This is to prevent rotting when shipping, and to prevent the succulent from getting damaged in the shipping process.
-When you receive the succulent, plant the roots & succulent upon receiving and they will continue to grow!
