This gorgeous dollhouse Chippendale sofa was made by Goebel in the 1970's.
Goebel miniatures were created by artists who took the real items and scaled them down to miniature in wood. That wood was cast and the mold filled with resin.
The sofa is resin and velvet.
This was the cream of the crop back in the 70's and is so very hard to find.
Deep gold color velvet and brown resin frame.
Collector's item. 6.25 inches long X 4 inches tall X 2.5 inches deep.
Photos taken outside in natural light. The color is more gold indoors.

Chippendale Goebel Sofa Dollhouse Miniature 1:12 Scale

Goebel miniatures CHIPPENDALE DRAWING ROOM BREAKFRONT for the BUTTERFLY COLLECTION, from 1979, will make the perfect addition to your dollhouse! 
Originally carved in wood, the model for this was then a copper mold from the carving. That mold was filled with resin to create and keep your heritage piece from ever decaying to natural elements, but it looks just like the wood. 
This piece is something you hand down in the family, not for children being rough with it. Very rare and hard to find. 1:12 scale. 
Almost 8" tall X 6.5" wide.
Used, but I see no flaws. This piece is very clean and over 40 years old. It was the cream of the crop back in the 70's and really still is today. 
Price is very, very firm. It is cross posted as are most of my pieces and will sell.
Comes in original box with pamphlet.
