Two vintage Black American Baby Dolls
by Ideal & Horsman ~ Absolutely adorable!
Here are 2 older Black American dolls by Ideal and Horsman. They are both very clean – it’s  possible they weren’t played with. They both have cloth torsos – the rest of them is vinyl.
The Horsman doll in the ponytails and blue dress could be a giggling Happy Baby doll from 1970. (She sure doesn’t look 53 years old!) She feels like she may have a voice box that is not working. Her dimples are irresistible! She is 17” long. She could use a visit to the hair stylist. 
The Ideal is the doll in the pink dress. She is more a an infant than her partner. She also feels like she may have a voice box that is not working. She is 15.5” long. The back of her head is stamped “Ideal 1988”.
