Gorgeous, gorgeous!!!! Extremely well made by well-known perfectionist Navajo silversmith Peterson Johnson. Signed by him and "STERLING" on the back with his curved arrow symbol. Lovely Morenci turquoise   with some lovely pyrite flecks! Classic Native Ameircan squash blossom design. Turquoise is sawtooth bezel set  in solid sterling. It is all sterling, tested and guaranteed. Lovely, even patina! May have a chip or what appears to be a natural part of the stone on the left...I think it's natural. You decide :). I've got close up pictures posted 

Peterson Johnson is a self-taught Navajo artist who has won numerous awards throughout the Southwest and whose work is sought by collectors around the world. He was born in 1956 and began creating silverwork in 1976. He is very well known for his traditional Navajo jewelry, which shows meticulous workmanship and has a distinctive Peterson flair.

These are nice thick walled beads.

Native American stone inlay buffalo red metal threaded barrel necklace



Love the uniqueness of this necklace! Features a multi stone inlay buffalo with broken arrow. Beyond its practical value (meat/hide), the buffalo was also revered for its spiritual significance. Many Native American tribes saw the buffalo as a symbol of abundance, not just in terms of physical resources but also of emotional and spiritual wealth. They believed that the buffalo possessed a powerful spirit that could protect and guide them. Through rituals and ceremonies, they sought to connect with this spiritual power and draw strength from it. The work is fascinating, if you look close enough you can see lines where the stones connected. Hangs from a lovely red metal rounded chain with really nice hidden locking threaded barrel clasp...chain sort of reminds me of a bicycle lock. Hangs about 16 inches.
