This antique Nippon plate is truly a work of art.  The peaceful scene done in muted colors, depicts rolling hills, trees, and pretty purple flowers at the edge of a pond.  It has two handles and features beautiful golden detailing for accent.  This would be a special addition for a collector, or displayed by itself on a shelf as an art piece.  It’s truly a lovely antique plate.

This plate is dated between 1891 - 1921 and is in beautiful condition.  There are no chips, cracks, or scratches.  The handpainted scene is free of damage.  
PLEASE NOTE:  There is some gentle wear on the gold trim at the edge of the plate.  Please see my photos for close ups.

Approx 8.5” handle to handle.
Makers mark on the back is very faint.  It reads, “Hand Painted Nippon”.

Wonderful piece of antique Handpainted  Nippon Pastel Scenic Porcelain. I can state its presumed true to be 100 years old, as they no longer stamped pieces as "Nippon" after 1921! Amazing antique condition with no damage to the face. Just 2 tiny hard to see chips on the underside of the rim as shown in the photos.  Measures 6.5"H x 2.5"W and weighs 8oz. Amazing piece of Asian Art History that needs to be preserved!  Price includes shipping in the USA.

This is an antique hand painted Nippon wall plate/charger. The center scene features mountains, lake, and trees. The edging is beaded on gold moriage. There is a few missing beads as shown in pictures. The back stamp is the blue maple leaf indicating plate was made between 1891-1911. Measures 10.75” in diameter. No chips or cracks.  #HC2

Beautiful antique handmade Nippon vase. Entailed with large amounts of 24 karat gold and beautiful hand-painted flowered artwork. 9 inches tall and 5 inch diameter at top 4 inch diameter at bottom. This vase is very old and very beautiful!!! Smoke-free pet free environment.

Very good used condition. Nice examples of intricate detailed painting.  Light serene colors in various shades of orange, and yellow represent the sun rising. Cup measures approx 2" high. Saucer measures approx 5" diameter. Nut bowl measures approx 2.25" high and 5" diameter. Cup has a single tree painted on one side. Saucer is shaded but no additional artwork. Nut bowl is light luster with a beautiful sunrise and tree painted inside. Note there is some paint rubbing that is about 1" long and 1/16" wide and another smaller rub.  See photo about midway through the tree trunk left side. It is not flash glare.  You have to look carefully to notice. Bowl has 3 black feet. Saucer and bowl is marked Hand Painted Nippon.

This listing is for a stunning Nippon polychrome salt cellar set, circa 1910’s.

Composed of fine Japanese porcelain, this incredibly ornate Art Deco five-piece serving set features one (1) main oblong dish with handles, and four (4) smaller open salt cellars.  Each hand-painted piece possesses a majestic butterfly motif that imitates the highly sought after Wedgwood fairyland lusterware collection.  The butterflies featured on these pieces are simply breathtaking, and possess vibrant dimensions!  This salt cellar set also has solid gilt rims, while the butterfly designs are outlined in gold too. 

The larger salt cellar measures approximately 12”L by 5.5”W, while the smaller dishes are 2.25"L by 1.5"W.

Excellent, preowned condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The gilt accents and hand-painted elements are impeccable with no losses! On the underside, these genuine Nippon pieces are marked with the Morimura Bros. green wreath, which denotes production c. 1910's.
