MCM 1960 Mid Century Serving Dish

Tribal Bakunawa masks made in north central Luzon Island, Philippines by the Ifuago or Igorot peoples. 

Rare mask showing human features of eyes nose and teeth unlike most of full dragon face or many eyes and many sharp teeth 

In Philippine mythology, the Bakunawa was a huge snake-dragon-crocodile-fish filled with spite, rage, and greed. It ate six of the original seven moons in the night sky and it continuously attempted to return to devour the last moon. During such times of darkness, Filipinos would leave their homes with instruments, pots and pans, and make enough noise to reach upwards to the heavens to scare off the Bakunawa. 

mask is larger than typical, measuring 24 x 11 inches and are in good condition.

Vintage Art Glass Cockerel

1951 original by Robyn Sikking, original bride angel designer prior to Napco/Lefton production. This figurine is handmade by her.  
Robyn Sikking, well known local artist, made her transition August 31, 2005, at age 93. Robyn and her husband, Bruce L. Sikking, were the original owners and creators of Robyn’s Gift Shop.  They also owned and operated the ceramic factory known as Robyn’s Ceramics from 1948 to 1954, employing more than 20 people. 
Robyn was said to have been one of the most copied artists in California. When the Japanese were making more of her angels then she was, they closed the ceramic factory and moved to Idyllwild, CA, full time, opening a gift shop there known as the Grey Squirrel.

1970's Pinkie and Blue Boy framed prints set. Made in Italy. Hard plastic frames with convex glass fronts and velvet backings. Prints are flush against the glass so I think they were permanently attached during the production process (so they cannot be used for picture frames; Sold as an art set only). Each measure 11 x 7 inches. Very nice condition with no damage.

This is a pair of vintage pastel prints by Gregory Messier "Water Pump and Garden Flowers from 1973. They are in white faux wicker Burwood frames. The pictures depict a county theme - one is a water pump among wild flowers and the other shows a watering can and pail filled with wildflowers. Some staining/yellowing as shown in photos from age. Mid Century Vintage Brass Metal Wall Hanging Home Decor Deer Fawn 50s 60s Art

This striking vintage biscuit tin, circa 1920, is elaborately decorated in an Art Nouveau design in gold, turquoise blue, and an orange-red. This is a Uneeda biscuit tin from National Biscuit Company, later Nabisco. It has a hinged lid, a latch, and a wire handle on the lid. The bottom of the tin is gold and embossed with the NBC logo and Uneeda. This logo was used from 1914 to 1941. I believe this is an early tin from this era. The tin has a fair amount of scratches and wear, some patches of rust around the bottom and even more on the lid, and some minor indentations.
