Vintage 70s silky wrap maxi dress with bird and floral print. Perfect for when it's warm out, but you still want classy full coverage. Dress has a slight stretch. It's a wrap dress so it ties at the side but has two small snap buttons in the front for extra staying power.
The tag is very faded but it reads that it was made by Sears.
It's made of a thin nylon material.

70’s Sear Maxi Dress

Lovely sleeveless  Hawaiian brown floral maxi dress. Classic brown mid century modern floral pattern  with small calico pattern flowers in orange, yellow and green.  Soft woven fabric  that is most likely cotton. White bib like top with a low neck and orange zig zag trim, hippie, boho milkmaid style. There is a small stain on this white part (see pics). A-line silhouette.   Zipper in back.  There is smocking in the back of the chest, and the front has some chest allowance.  No size tag, depending on measurements and desired fit, could work for a small, extra small xs. Hostess Dress muu muu Kaftan Caftan.  Simply beautiful and works for casual every day to a party event. 1960’s Sears Hawaiian Fashions polyester a-line dress in black, blue, green, multicolor, orange, pink, red, white & yellow.
fitted bust forming top with front tie closures thick strap like cap sleeve , cant tell if it had elastic on sleeves before doesn't now . Sleeve/ Strap is 10" could easily be shortened if needed . 
Aline gently flares out at bottom  back zipper . it is a light possible polyester or poly cotton blend 
black with bright floral peacock print . 
has one small snag or very tiny hole in back see picture
Straps are long may need to be shortened or add elastic

70s RARE vintage "Sears Fashions" cotton blend maxi dress, long length, pearly buttons in front and on sleeves. Ruffled bottom and invisible zipper in the back. Click on pictures to see whole thing.  The tag looks to say sz 11 which is an old junior size. Probably equal to today's 8-10 but please see measurements below! 

Super cute and retro Authentic 'Sears Fashions' 1 pc 1970s dress. 
This dress is lavender gingham. It looks like cotton and is not shiny like polyester. Perma press. Fairly lightweight.  This is something l would have worn in high school. Purple was very popular!
