Vintage Plates

Highly decorated and ornate vintage Japanese porcelain Imari plate with blue and red  panels all around the plate. In between the panels are green bands that act as borders.  There are still green used throughout the plates to accent scenes. In addition, real gold is used to highlight scenes and trim edges. The panels alternate between a Japanese garden scene and large pink flowers.  Very bold and brilliant home decor! 

Plate spans 11" wide in diameter. 

Condition: No chips, cracks, damages, or major wear. There may be minor wear due to its age and prior ownership. 

Bottom of the plate is marked with Chinese characters that I don't know what they mean. However, these marks usually stand for maker's signature. There is an original sticker that has now faded.

Vintage Japan Imari Decorative Plate

This is a vintage plate from the 1970s. Hawaii souvenir plate. Made of grayish white stoneware with 2 blue rings - 1 thin and 1 thick. Multi-color design with nice detail. There's a picture of the state with various related pictures such as pineapple, state flower, state bird, volcanos, luau girls, etc. Unknown manufacturer - not marked. Says "Genuine Stoneware" and "oven, dishwasher" on back. There's writing in a blue strip on the back about not using for serving food.  10 1/4 inches diameter. Good condition - no chips or cracks. Design good. Some residue from original tag on back. Weighs 1 3/4 pounds by itself. Great for anyone who likes Hawaii items.
