Torrid alternately calls this dress lilac purple and charcoal.  It's neither, in my opinion.  I think it's more of a gray with some tinge of purple.  Hard to say.  Stock photos (you may do a search for them if the listing doesn't contain them) show the color pretty well in my opinion.
