This is an exceedingly beautiful vintage fur coat made of a patchwork of various tones of rabbit furs in a cropped style, created by Caravelle, a designer fine furs brand from New York that has very little information about them on the internet! Likely made around the 1960s or 70s
This coat features a deep maroon colored interior with a diamond quilted stitch pattern, 2 exterior pockets, pebbled dark brown leather trim, a zip closure, coat loop, and a hood with drawstrings!

– Size: (US Women's) vintage size 6, extra small in modern sizes. Model in photo 1 wears a small

Fur Coat

Vintage real fur and leather jacket from "Lerner's Furs" in Connecticut. I believe this to be multi colored mink and the collar I believe is rabbit. This does specify size as I think it was custom made for the customer. I wear a true large in all coats/jackets and this I can't get away with wearing, it is definitely a medium fit. The measurements are pit to pit across front 19 in. Across the wait area where the leather is approx 18 in. From the top of neck area in back to bottom is 32 in. The buttons are made of wood and have elastic loops to secure it. The elastic is all still very much intact which leads me to believe this jacket was hardly worn. No rips, or stains. Beautiful one of a kind fur coat. I have dropped the price on this drastically so I don't have much wiggle room on price. I will give great deals if you bundle multiple listings with me. Vintage rabbit fur coat by Jaques Saint Laurent in a women's size medium. There is some discoloration on the left collar and minor damage to one elbow where there is discoloration and a tear in the fur. Selling as is, maybe someone wants to patch it up or upcycle the fur and use for something else. Either way the fur in all other areas of coat is still very soft and in good shape.
