1980s Green Textured Leather Shoulder Bag Binocular Case Shape Robert Bestien

The crossbody purse was made in India in the 40’s-50’s and it has intricate colorful designs throughout the purse. The inside is fabric and it has one black stain on it as shown in the picture. The hinges and the peacock fasteners are in good working condition. The purse is 6 3/4” long x 4” tall x 2” at the widest in width.

Carved bone frame (floral motif) with corded handle

Pink crochet with ombré faille interior accented with pretty ribbon flowers and greenery. 

I have not tried to wash this - it is a little dingy on the edges. Maybe soaking it gently in a gentle cleanser would brighten up the pink color. The faille is in good shape and the flowers are still colorful and intact. All 9 thread stitches on both sides of carved bone attaching the fabric part to the bone part are intact. 

Approximately 6” x 6”

This would be a unique purse to carry small items. My iPhone did fit standing up, but peeked out the top. There was still room for a few more small items as well. 

Can be used reversed with faille side showing. Less detailing in carved bone would show, but the ombré faille is pretty cool.
