Vintage Hand Stitched Patriotic Twin Size 'H' Block Quilt. Hand stitched. Cotton - Multi colored swatches 'H' block pattern edged in red in blue. Edges are rolled and stitched. Back is red, white, and blue with stars VOTE in stencil block font. Size is 71 1/2" x 63. Very good vintage condition. Great color. Does show wear and has some small tears and some small stains. No odors. Will need a gentle cleaning and some light repair. One corner will need to be re-stitched.

Limited Edition The Brides Quilt-Album Style Applique Quilt from the Smithsonian Collection.  This BEAUTIFUL cotton "The Bride's Quilt" was commissioned by the Smithsonian and is a limited reproduction of Eliza Jane Baile's original masterpiece from 1851 that resides in the National Museum of American History. Done in the classic "album quilt" style, the quilt contains 25 unique botanical panels, all done with unusual precision including reverse, single, double, and triple applique as well as hand and machine embroidered accents. It's surrounded by a red sawtooth border and outer strawberry applique border.

The quilt measures approximately 80” x 83” and is in fair condition as the red binding on edges is fraying and areas of the front are showing wear.
The back is white, the binding is solid red, and the batting is thin.
