This Vintage 1980s Victor Costa dress is a stunner for any occasion where you’d like to be the star of the show. The fabric is silky and the entire dress is lined in a similar feeling lining. The ruching is very flattering and there is a rubberized band to reduce slipping around the top edge of the dress. Sizing is listed as a 6 but runs more like a 2. Could probably be worn by a 0 or 4 even as it’s pretty forgiving. Features a zipper along the left side.

Preloved Victor Costa for Saks Fifth Avenue

Size: 6 (See notes below.)
Materials: Cotton, Tulle Netting

This is an absolutely gorgeous dress! It has puff sleeves that fall off the shoulders, a fitted “corset” style top, and a puffy tulle underskirt to give it shape. I’m 5’4” and it falls around my knees, a little longer. I included photos of the hook and eye, which is attached but has extra thread, and the material around the zipper. I believe it was made this way, but I wanted to show a photo just in case. 

This is a preloved item and will show signs of wear, so please do keep that in mind. It may need steaming or cleaning upon arrival. 

*Size note: I am not sure what size this truly is. One tag says 6, but I am a true 6 and it does not zip for me. I would say it runs small. Let me know if you would like measurements.*

This Vintage Victor Costa shift dress is really fabulous! It is black mesh with black and white sequins over a white satin lining and it zips up the back. The sequins form an abstract flower pattern and the dress appears to have never or barely ever been worn. The dress was purchased at the exclusive Portland Oregon boutique Martha’s in the 1980‘s.
