Stainless steel case. 

Vintage 1970s generic stainless bracelet.

Both case & bracelet freshly cleaned/disinfected (not buffed)

Movement runs good, service history unknown.

Dark blue dial is in very good condition. 

Acrylic crystal freshly buffed, looks new.   

Case is 42mm wide; 45 mm tall; 12 mm thick.

Currently fits a 7¼" wrist (maximum). Can be shortened by the clasp down to 6¼" approx.

UNPOLISHED, original patina & small scratches.

Wittnauer Swiss W1880 watch. Purchased in the late 90s and kept in the box.
Beautiful jet black Wittnauer men's watch with one inlaid crystal in the face and has a leather band (slightly worn). Comes in the original box and pillow. The box's front left corner has a small scuff/mark (See picture).  The watch works; we had a new battery installed by a professional jeweler. 

Born of American ingenuity with Swiss roots, Wittnauer was built on the time-honored tradition of durable and dependable watches. In 1885, 16-year-old Swiss immigrant Albert Wittnauer joined his brother-in-law, J. Eugene Robert, in New York to work in the family watch import business.

Very rare and beautiful Vintage WITTNAUER men's automatic watch.10K Gold Filled case.new crown.
The watch has just been cleaned, oiled and adjusted; the time accuracy is very good. (Cleaning and oiling means that the movement parts of the watch have been completely disassembled, then cleaned and lubricated)
Year: 1950s
Movement: wittnauer 11ARG 17Jewels.
Case width:33mm (excluding the crown), the width including the crown is 35.5mm.
The width between lugs is 17mm.new strap.
Matches wrist circumference up to 8.25 inches (20.9cm).
Crystal: There may be a few small scratches that are not easy to notice.
The case shows signs of normal use, such as scratches or wear.
Dial: There are signs of aging.
The waterproofness of the watch has not been tested, so avoid contact with water.

Vintage Wittnauer Swiss quartz diamond accented men's / unisex dress watch. Watch features a gold-tone case and gold-tone dial with small diamond accents at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock. The dial is marked, "Wittnauer, Quartz," and the case back is marked, "Stainless Steel Back, Base Metal" on the exterior. Powered by a 6 jewel ETA quartz movement (caliber 578.004). The watch case measures approx. 24.2mm across excluding the crown by approx. 25.5mm (small for a man's watch by today's standards). The total length of the watch with integrated bracelet band is approx. 7 3/4" (maximum wrist size of approx. 7 1/4"). Watch is in fair vintage condition with some scratches on the crystal (partially polished out, but still visible) and scuffs / scratches to the case and band (more significant on the top bezel). Watch has a new battery and keeping time.

The distance between the corners of the case is 33mm.
Width between lugs is 16mm. Original bracelet.
The thickness of the watch is 7 mm.
Fits a wrist circumference of 7-1/4 inches (18.4cm).
Crystal: There are some small scratches that are hard to notice.
Case/bracelet: There are signs of normal use, such as scratches or wear.
Dial: Looks like new.
The water resistance of the watch has not been tested, so avoid contact with water.
