This piece strongly appears to be from the Late Victorian to Edwardian era (roughly 1890s to 1910s). The Elongated Pin Stem (Image 3)This is a classic hallmark of 19th-century and very early 20th-century jewelry. The Clasp Style (Image 5): The close-up of the back shows what appears to be a simple, open "C-clasp." The Hinge: The hinge attaching the pin to the base appears to be a simple, early tube hinge. Design and Materials:Jewelers of this era often used these materials to mimic the highly desirable, extremely expensive diamond and platinum jewelry of the time.
