Authentic vintage 1973 Howdy Doody ventriloquist puppet doll manufactured by the EEGEE Co. and licensed by NBC Inc. Features his classic 1970s red and green plaid shirt, blue bandana, and red plastic belt.Condition Details:Mouth/String: The back-of-neck pull string mechanism is fully intact and works cleanly to open and close the mouth.Vinyl: Head and hands are molded vinyl in beautiful vintage condition with no stickiness or dry rot. Right hand features the signature accessory-grip mold.Fabric Body: The cloth body is sturdy with strong, tight seams. Light surface aging/faint yellowing on the cream fabric thighs typical for its age, but otherwise very clean.Markings: Fully stamped on the back of the neck with "© 1973 NBC Inc." and "© EEGEE CO." markings.From a smoke-free home.
