Description
Up for sale is a stunning, authentic 19th-century Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain export plate. This 7-inch plate features beautifully hand-painted alternating panels depicting vibrant court parlor scenes with figures and intricate floral motifs filled with birds and butterflies (famille rose palette). It features a lovely classic scalloped rim. The plate sits right at a 7" diameter, making it a perfect size for a cabinet display piece, a plate wall hanger, or a gorgeous addition to a Chinoiserie or Grandmillennial design scheme. Condition Note: This is a true antique item with minor wear consistent with age and use. There is a slight chip along the scalloped rim, which is documented closely in the photos.
