Unique Antique Ink Blotter with Carved Tegua Nut Cameo Portrait

Description

This is a unique antique ink blotter. It's handle is a profile portrait carved from a tegua nut which has been painted. The top is covered in a woven textile. The handle unscrews, allowing the top portion to be removed so the blotter paper can be replaced. Overall the condition is good with wear consistent with its age and use. The carving is in good shape with some worn paint. The textile on top has a few loose threads. The blotter paper on the bottom is in used condition. Please see the pictures for further details.
