Vintage metal, hand painted metal match holder

VINTAGE RARE EAST GERMAN FOX IN GERMAN ATTIRE PORCELAIN LAMP NIGHT LIGHT 1940-50's in great shape. Absolutely adorable!! It is made of porcelain. It is marked 837 imprint (hard to make out)?  East Germany on the bottom. He stands ALMOST 8.5" inches tall. It was a perfume lamp which was made into a nightlight. Rotary on/off switch with new LED bulb. This is a really cool piece. I was unable to locate one like it. No cracks, chips or repairs noted.

When you turn on the lamp it is supposed to be like the headlight of the train.
Light color is yellow.
Made of thick ceramic.
Black with a brown power cord.

Vintage Black Ceramic Train Car Carriage Table Mantle Lamp Light Holiday

1940-50 tabletop slicer, original box. Slicer is still somewhat sharp. Body of slicer is plastic with a green swirl over ivory. I think I like the box more than I like the slicer! The box would be a great piece to display on a shelf along with some other 1950s spices or some vintage kitchen tools.
