Vintage Wall Hanging

Vintage black wall shelf from the mid 1950's, France. 

Has 3 shelves, with a 0.75" edge to hold items in place. Very lightweight, I think it's aluminum. Two ways to hang - two nails at top, or one centrally.

Needs work. Paint flaking in a few places, light rust to the underside in a few places. A couple bends two pliers can fix. Always thought I'd refinish it and keep it in the family, but it turns out I don't enjoy that sort of work. 

Fine & functional as is, if used indoors. Shabby chic bohemian vibe, Anthropologie before it existed. It's "needed work" for 25+ years and hasn't changed.

Perfect for display of plant babies or other miniature decorative items. Stained in a dark walnut color with a glossy finish. Beautiful wood graining throughout. Could be spray painted by buyer any color you wish. 

In very good preowned vintage condition, some minor dings, scuffs or rubs to wood consistent with age, has 2 original hangers on back.
