Her torso is made of fabric, probably cotton. This doll is about 30 to 40 years old and has been kept in the box. She was only taken out of the box a couple times for pictures. Kept in a household with no pets and no smoking.

Seymour Mann dolls are designed by Eda Mann who is a painter and sculptor. Each of the dolls has a porcelain face that is hand painted, hand-sewn costumes, realistic glass eyes and leather shoes.

This spectacular doll is from the Dynasty Doll Collection of Seymour Mann and is called the Chatelaine.  She's wearing a lush red velvet dress with a long flowing hem in the back and a small red velvet hat with multi colored feathers.  Her dainty red velvet bag completes her coordinated look.

She has a crinoline beneath her dress in addition to full-length pantaloons.  And she has white leather shoes.

She measures 21 inches tall and and weighs 3 lb, 8 oz including box and stand.  She's in near mint condtion with no signs of wear or tear.
