Vintage Shawls

A really sweet older woman made this in Hawaii. 100% handmade from her angora rabbits (only made from the shedding of the fur, no bunnies were harmed). This took her over a year to make by gathering the fur & making the fur into yarn/thread.
Really delicate, soft quality, similar to cashmere.
I wore this only once for my hosting job.
I can bring the price down a couple hundred dollars if bought off of the website since they take a large fee.
I have several reviews that you can look at & I also will be including gifts for this item specifically.

80s VTG 'Alps' Wool Knit Shawl Collared

This 100% wool throw or shawl is loomed of yarn-dyed wool for lasting color. Traditional herringbone plaid pattern, edged with 2” fringe. Colors are black, two tones of solid grey, heather grey and grey-blue with white accents. Measures approx. 49” x 55.5”. Made in Chile at Bellavista Tome, a firm established in 1865 and known for its high quality wool that was considered among the best in the continent. Excellent vintage condition. Multiple uses as a plain shawl, over a coat for extra warmth, or kept as a throw on a sofa or bed.

There is perhaps some very slight yellowing in some places of the fur but it's not really noticable among the variegated tones of the gray, I did my best to photograph the whole thing in natural light

Beautiful authentic ladies rabbit stole, absolutely gorgeous, the fur is an excellent condition, there are two spots on the back of the cape where the stitching has popped a bit, it is completely unnoticeable while wearing, I was only able to notice while separating them for the photo. Vintage 1940's from Chasanov in Kansas City. Absolutely stunning bit of vintage fashion, undyed! I don't see any shedding of the fur, it appears to be in good condition. Fits small to XL.
