9 Vtg MCM Georges Briard Small Charcuterie/Cheese Plate Bird Tile Walnut C4. This is a vintage 1960s era small cheeseboard before charcuterie boards were extremely popular they were usually cheeseboards. This one is 8.75 x 8.75 across. The tile is 4 3/8 in.². The wood is walnut, I believe. And apparently its an oiled wood. This board is made of four planks. You can see the seams from the back of the sides really well. its stamped or burned in the back woodland, contemporary elegance designed by Georges Briard. There are two flaws. One there is the little metal hoop that I believe a chain, and a knife or cheese cutter was connected to. I dont know why else there would be a hook. And three the boards are loose, particularly the one behind the tile. Theres a gap if you hold it up to the light . It is held in place by the tile I believe.  And if you look at the tile at about 1 inch up on the left, there is a chip on the interior side.  1 lb. 2.5 ounces
