Vintage Gorgeous Woven Authentic Beaver State Pendleton Indian Chief Blanket 75x64" the Green and Yellow are among the most coveted. Like many  things these...They Just Dont Make them as good as this anymore  Pendleton Indian Soft Beautiful reversible colors. I love the weight, colorations and most of all the warmth provided  by the  one I use.. I inherited 3 of these awesome Chief Native Blankets 30+ years ago.  Have  kept this one in  an air proof vaccuum seal space bag. Made in United States of America.
This blanket was included in an Art exhibit in Washington showing the best of the best see second row picture 7 & 8

Legend of the "Yavapai" Blanket: "Yavapai Indians, AKA "People of the Sun" once resided in most of the Central part of Arizona. The Yavapai women specialized in basketry and their work with a tight weave became famous for being able to hold water. The vivid patterns in this blanket reflects the intricate Yavapai art of basketry. Like all Native American Trade Blankets, this comes unnapped.

Since the 19th Century, woolen mill in Pendleton, Oregon, has been producing these beautiful, eye-catching wool blankets with extraordinary colors and authentic designs.
