This is a map of The Town of Redding, Fairfield County, CT from 1867.  Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment, it's 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame. 
The pictures provided only show portions of the actual maps! Please contact me with any questions!
                           Contained on the map are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the Town of Redding. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown. Please check out the attached pictures for greater detail. This map covers a rather wide and heavily populated area and therefore the names shown are quite small.  Some of the villages shown are Georgetown, Redding Ridge, Topstone, Five Points and Sanfordtown. Also shown is the area where the Saugatuck Reservoir is now located. 
                       Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are  Banks, Smith, Weed, Ferris, Lockwood, Knapp, Mills, Fitch, Raymond, Sanford and so many more

Marilyn Davis has graduate work at Northern Illinois University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received a Ford Foundation grant to develop her technique of oil on rag watercolor paper with collage. This landscape captures a small village by a lake amid rolling hills, lush greenery, and flowers. Professionally custom framed with a wood 2” wide gold frame featuring a beaded rabbet and raised ornate design.  Enhancing the picture is a juniper green  beveled cut outer mat and autumn gold  inner mat adorned with a gold filet. The picture is framed with plexiglas for safety and shipping. Approximate overall dimensions  30.5” W x 27.25” H.

This is a 2 map set of the Township of Willingboro, Burlington County NJ from 1876.  Recently reproduced on fine natural color parchment they are 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame. Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of the Township of Willingboro as well as the many towns and villages. The pictures provided show only portions of the actual maps. The First map shows the entire township of Willingboro which includes the towns or villages of Rancocas, Garfield Park, Twin Hill Park, Martins Beach, Country Club Ridge, Pennypacker Park, Charleston, Hawthorne Park, Buckingham Park &  Somerset Park. Please note that this map reflects the land before many of these towns or villages were established. The second map shows the detailed street map of Rancocas.

                       Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Horton, Barton, Wills, Stokes, Perkins, Wolf, Busby, Vansciver and many more!

Willingboro NJ 1876 Maps Homeowners

French “Girl With A Fan” framed, matted, under glass print by Pierre Auguste Renoir. Mounting hardware on back. Good condition.
Overall frame size: 25”x 21”x 1.5”. Image area 19.5”x 15.5”. Glass area: 23.5” x 19.5”.
Born in Limoges, France, on February 25, 1841, Renoir discovered his talent for – and pleasure in – painting while apprenticed at a Paris porcelain factory at age 13. Later, while taking classes at the École des Beaux-Arts and the studio of painter Charles Gleyre, he met Alfred Sisley, Claude Monet and Frédéric Bazille who, like him, envisioned an art that was closer to real life. While the reception to their first Impressionist Salon in 1874 was mixed, Renoir’s career was launched thanks to commissions from his first great patron, publisher Georges Charpentier, and his circle of friends. As his fame grew, he settled in the small village of Cagnes-sur-Mer in 1907.  Renoir died at home on 3 December 1919.

St. Padre Pio is one of the greatest Saints of the Twentieth Century. He was associated with many miracles in his life. Among them was warding off Allied bombers away from his village during World War II, as reported by the pilots of those bombers. St. Pope John Paul II asked him to pray for a friend, sick unto death, who then recovered. Many, many other stories tell of this amazing man’s holiness and devotion to God. If you don't know much about this man, we deeply encourage you to read about him, or watch the movies based on his life. He is astonishing, and a great counterpoint to those who think the age of miracles has passed.

Beautiful Scenery Postcards Set

I love medieval Catholic art, and I think this one is especially beautiful. Mary and John are at the feet of our Crucified Lord. The Angels are collecting his blood in golden chalices, which reminds us of the Eucharist. The people in the village behind – which would have been the world we would have known if we lived in the Middle Ages – have been redeemed by Jesus’s Passion. 

The original was painted by an anonymous German artist of the 15th Century. It is made of tempera colors and gold on parchment. This is a high resolution print. We have taken out the main staining and flecking.

Didier Lourencio Print "By the Sea"

Quaint and colorful Rural European Art.  Vintage signed and numbered print was 75th out of only 250 made.  Five dancers and nine animals, with village and forest in background.  Measures 29” x 23” and has been perfectly preserved in original packaging on board.  Will be rolled and shipped in tube to mail.  Uncertain of artist, but signature is pictured for research purposes.

What an amazing find and totally unexpected.  I almost lost it when i found this Vintage *Marc Chagall* Exibition Poster of the July 25,1915 Moscow Mikhailova Art Salon.  He is one of my most beloved artists and the artist of one of my first art purchases.  This is very rare and would be a great addition to a collection or a perfect gift for the fine art lover.
The vintage poater is on white woven paper. Possibly a serilith. The Image on the poster is of a painting by Chagall "Autumn in the Village" supposedly done in the 1930's but also showing up at the Wadsworth Athenaum with the date 1952. Earliest date of the poster is 1952.  The poster is in Good to Excellent Condition! RARE & UNIQUE ITEM!  The unframed poster measures 26" x 19".  
There are only 2 vintage posters available.  They are not framed and come in a print roll for safe transportation and handling.  One poster is in good to excellent condition and the second has a small tear on the margin and due to the minor imperfectio

Until the mid-19th century, Pont-Aven, named after the river that runs through it, was known for its mills and its port. With the advent of the railways along came tourism and in the 1860s some American painters discovered the village. Word spread throughout the artistic community about its merits and in 1886 Paul Gauguin arrived for the first of several stays; in 1888 he met fellow artist Émile Bernard and the École de Pont-Aven art movement, which focused on colour and symbolism, was born.
