This vintage Nantucket Pocketbook is a beautiful addition to any collection. The oval-shaped medium-sized basket is crafted from high-quality wood. The basket is designed with a square handle and oval lid, making it perfect for storing or carrying small items. 

The bag is missing the decorative piece that was on top, which I believe was a Whale. There is a bone and leather closure on the front. Add it to your collection today and enjoy its timeless beauty.

Approx 8 1/2” across.  Approximately 10 1/2 inches from the bottom of the basket to the top of the handle.

Wooden box handbag by Enid Collins of Texas in the 'Flower Basket' design. Hand painted and embellished with plastic "jewels", this is a wonderful bag both highly collectible and usable.
Item is in very good to excellent vintage condition. There are no missing pieces. Slight wear at outer corners. No large scratches or chips in the painted wood.
Please see photos for condition. Black leather top closure strap is in perfect shape. Brass toned metal snap closure. Bag has a black Bakelite style plastic curved handle tipped with brass toned metal. 
Interior is extremely clean. Inside lid has round mirror and the inscription that reads, "The Original Collins of Texas, Handmade Especially for You", with the black horse trademark logo.
 Box bag measures 7 7/8" wide,   5 3/4" high and 3 1/4" deep.
This is quite a collectible Collins bag. We did not find another like it in our research online.

Vintage 60s 70s bohemian bamboo half moon boho arc retro natural purse bag

This cute wood box purse with lucite handle and a mirror lid is adorable and vintage, from the 1960s. The purse is octagonal in shape and there are flowers and butterflies that adorn the sides. And a happy snail on the top and the back of the box purse.

The interior is lined with bright colored fabric. There is a round mirror on the inside of the purse lid.

Purse measures about 5.5" tall, 8.5" across, and 5.25" deep. Plastic handle measures about 12" end to end

Some scuffs on the piece and paint worn or faded.

Up for sale is a BARELY used vintage Jewel Tone Handbag that was created in 1968. This Purse was a General Crafts Kit (this specific purse is Kit #916 Bouquet). The purse measures 11”x16”, has Natural Woven Fabric with Mahogany Wood bottom. This purse kit was completed. The purse is in very good condition as it was hardly,  if ever used.  There is some raised fabric - I think it is from age and storing (see photo 10). PLEASE LOOK AT ALL PHOTOS TO ASSESS BAG CONDITION! I took photos both WITH and WITHOUT flash. Approximate dimensions are 12" wide and 16.5" tall not counting handle. Cute, string closure with wooden beads. Some fabric discoloration inside. Good, used condition. Smoke free, pet free home.

Vintage Collapsible Wood Slatted Purse Handbag

Adorable wooden box bag purse from 1966 with a painting of an owl and a moon adorned with jewels. The painting is signed K-wes. On the inside it says Handcrafted Pebble Beach Texas by K-wes and there is a mirror glued in that measures 2.25"x3.5". The bag closes with a leather strap and a metal piece that turns.

Condition - There are lots of dings and wear but nothing major. I don't think there are any missing jewels and the leather is still in good shape. There is something on the bottom that I didn't attempt to remove. The handle is separated where the plastic parts meets the metal on the right side but there is something inside that holds it all together and it's not really noticeable.
